Join a local MRC Today!
Welcome to the website for the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Program in Illinois! This is brought to you by the MRC of Illinois (MRCIL) organization who seeks to improve coordination, training, and networking between the MRC Units.
We invite you to explore what MRC has to offer and what you can offer in return. The MRC Program in Illinois is one of the largest MRC states in the country, and we welcome new volunteers to our ever-expanding network!
All MRC Units in Illinois are a part of the National MRC Program under the Administration for Strategic Planning and Response. The MRC was launched in 2002 after President George W. Bush’s State of the Union Address called on all Americans to volunteer in support of their country. Throughout its history, the mission has remained the same – to engage volunteers and communities across the country to improve local emergency response capabilities, reduce vulnerabilities and public health risks, and build community preparedness and resilience.
We welcome you to JOIN A LOCAL MRC! See below for instructions and more information.
