Time Expectations
- Executive Board Meetings – Until the STTRONG grant is completed this summer, the executive board meets virtually for 1-2 hour every 2 weeks on a date that is voted on by the board members. After that time, we expect to resume normal operations of meeting 1 hour per month.
- State Meetings occur 2 times per year, once virtually and ideally once in-person at the IDPH annual meeting.
- The term for each board position is 2 years.
Board Positions
Co-Chairpersons
Co-Chairpersons will prepare meeting agendas and preside over state and executive board meetings. With the assistance of other board members and the state advisor, the Co-Chairpersons will also take the lead in planning state meetings and the annual elections. Lastly the Co-Chairpersons will act as spokespersons for MRCIL at official meetings (local, state, regional and national).
Co-Secretaries
Co-Secretaries are responsible for recording meeting minutes and maintaining accurate documentation of all MRCIL meetings. The Co-Secretaries will forward these items to the Board and/or Unit Coordinators for review and comment.
